On June 12, an important billionaire from India, Sunjay Kapur, suddenly died at the age of 53 in Windsor, England, according to several reports.
Kapur was the President of Sona Comstar, a manufacturer of Indian car components.
His intimate friend, business consultant, Suhel Seth, confirmed Kapur’s death in a publication in X that same day.

In the following days, it was revealed that Kapur died while playing Polo. Several outlets reported that it collapsed after swallowing a bee in the middle of the game, potentially causing a fatal heart attack.

No official source of the billionaire confirmed that a bee caused the heart attack. Fox News Digital contacted Sona Comstar for comments.
“ It is not possible to comment with any specificity in this specific case without a thorough review of forensics, ” Dr. Nishant Kalra, a Cardiologist and Regional Medical Director of Ohio, in VitalTollation, a naive health company that offers cardiovascular services and anesthesiology in hospitals, told Fox News Digital.

Engulfing a bee can, in very rare cases, precipitate a heart attack, confirmed – “but only through specific mechanisms.”

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology indicates that heart anaphylaxis can cause a reduced blood flow to the heart (myocardial ischemia) and irregular heartbeat (arrhythmias) when it is triggered by an allergy to insect poison.

However, these cases are incredibly rare, according to experts.
“The general population should not worry about it as a common risk,” Kapur told Fox News Digital. “Fatal cardiac events after bee bites are rare and usually occur in individuals with known hypersensitivity of poison or underlying heart disease.”
